Creating a radial effect in Adobe Illustrator

First create a circle

Then give it a stroke of around 200px

Then open the stroke panel and select dashed line

change the dashed line px to change the number of radial lines

On the right hand side of the Stroke Panel, select the second dashed line in a rectangle option to space the lines equally.
